Self-Improvement Sunday #4: Engaging with emotions for True Self Growth

Welcome to the only weekly newsletter that promises to arrive weekly, but never really does. The only weekly newsletter that promises to bring your coffee on time, but never really does. The only weekly newsletter that promises to bring you self-improvement, but never really does!

Okay, jokes apart (I’m Kiddin).

See, self-improvement is something that I can and cannot help you with. I mean I can only point you in an appropriate direction, do a shitload of research, and give you tons of advice. However, many aspects affect the results. And this week, I will discuss one of the most significant aspects that directly influences everything. And the aspect is – your willingness to endure and embrace adversity, and engaging pain.

The underlying aspect is not only essential for success but is extremely critical for a good and happy life. Why? This week I have written a long article to explain why the ability to bear pain is not only necessary but the correct approach for the pursuit of happiness.

Read here: How to improve our Emotional Wealth to be Happy

There are two ways to live life. 1) Chase constant happiness by trying to maintain higher emotional intensity, and 2) Become someone who isn’t afraid of adversity or pain. Infact, someone who is willing to engage with pain to face it and conquer it. This article, inspired by 2 life-defining stories, highlights the differences between these two approaches and exhibits the importance of the latter.

Read it and share your views about it with me. Next week, I’ll be back with something interesting again.

Until then,
Aashish
